Annual GNUUC Celebration Dinner - Saturday April 27 - 6:30 pm For this year's dinner, so far, we have table captains signed up for three theme tables:

You are invited to attend the GNUUC Annual Celebration Dinner, for an evening of fun, fellowship, and great food. We will be repeating the popular theme dinners format, which have been great fun, as shown by some of our previous dinners, including ‘The Life Aquatic’, ‘Breakfast in Hawaii’, ‘Casino Night’, ‘Southern Living’, ‘Mexican’ and ‘Farmer’s Table’. There will be a slide show on the history of GNUUC, from our founding members through our new members. If you have photos of GNUUC people and events to offer for the history of GNUUC slide show, please contact Doug Luckes. With our Pledge Drive concluding, our Celebration Dinner will be on the eve of the Congregational Meeting, when we will vote on Interim Minister candidates to make offers to. Board members will be available at the dinner to answer questions on our Interim Minister search. For the theme dinners - a table captain chooses a theme. The captain then decides with the people who sign-up for their theme table, as to foods and decor to bring. The cuisine themes can be expressed through appetizers, main courses, side dishes, desserts, and beverages. A theme table offers seating for nine. If you would like to captain a theme dinner table, contact me. April 27 is not very far off. I’ll be at the worship service on Sunday April 7, so you can see me to sign-up as a captain. Also, you can see me to check on what theme tables there are so far, and to sign-up for a table. Once you are signed up, your team captain will contact you. Please also sign-up children you will be bringing. Childcare will be provided.  |
