“Creating a Multi-generational Congregation: Family, Friends, and the Church of the Future”

GNUUC All-Church Family Retreat
Natchez Trace State Park
April 16-18

We are very pleased to announce that The Rev. Sue Sinnamon, UUA and TJ District Director of Faith Development, will be with us for the All-Church Family Retreat and work with our Committee in leading the program: “Creating a Multigenerational Congregation: Family, Friends, and the Church of the Future”. We will have many of our children and youth with us for the Retreat and Sue will help create activities and sessions to engage us in working toward inclusion of all ages in the life of our congregation.

The Retreat will offer plenty of time for fellowship, recreation, and enjoying the beauty of Natchez Trace State Park (some 90 miles west of Nashville on I 40). Many of us remember what a great time everyone had at the last retreat a few years ago at this park! We invite and urge you to sign up for the entire weekend, but we also welcome Saturday only attendees.

Costs will depend on the number of folks attending but probably will be in the range of $60 per person (adult) which includes housing (cottages and bunkhouse), meals, covering costs of children and youth, and program costs. The cost for Saturday only is $25 per adult.

There will be sign-up sheets for the Retreat itself AND for helpers with the meals, activities, logistics, etc. A Retreat schedule is being worked on and should be available this coming Sunday. If you have questions or need further information please call or contact members of the Committee: Margaret Wright, Kristin Reveal, Mary Hinton, Wayne Morris, or Rev. Dan Rosemergy.
