Chalice
The Rev. Dr. Dan Rosemergy, GNUUC Minister
“Redemption Through the Prism of Other Faiths”

Brit Hume of Fox News — after Tiger Wood’s accident and situation became publicly known — suggested on air that Buddhism didn’t offer the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. Tiger subsequently reaffirmed his Buddhist faith and his intention to return to the core Buddhist values that he had been raised to believe. Dan will reflect on the folly of religious certainty and exclusivity of any one faith, and speak about the many ways different world faiths understand the human condition and offer paths to wholeness and “redemption”.
