We are pleased to announce that the Singers of United Lands (S.O.U.L.) will be visiting Nashville and GNUUC again this year (for the fourth time) and will be presenting a full concert here at GNUUC on Monday, February 22, beginning at 7:30pm.
The Group whose mission is to “develop international and cultural relationships through vocal music from around the world” includes four wonderful singers from Estonia (Teele), Haiti (Makly), Polynesia (Steve) and Venezuela (Zuleika). GNUUC will again provide host families for the group and assist with their Nashville schedule.
S.O.U.L. will have a busy schedule visiting and performing and working with area schools during their stay and tentatively plan to arrive in Nashville on February 17th. They will participate in our Worship Service on Sunday, February 21. We encourage you to plan to attend both the service and the concert. Please invite family, friends, and neighbors to this wonderful evening of music. The group sings songs/plays instruments from their native lands and shares their stories during the concert. It is an amazing evening!
