This shelter for parents and children relies every day of the year on meals provided by volunteers. Our next date to serve dinner is Tuesday, September 21. Please contact Mary Hinton at 673-7699 if you can help.
The Hike for the Homeless to benefit Safe Haven Family Shelter will take place on Saturday, October 16 at Edwin Warner Park. Registration is at 8:00 a.m. Visit www.safehaven.org for more information.

Our thanks go to Susan DeRiemer and Leah, Twilla McClellan, Skip Rudsenske, and Phillip Vest for the imaginative and wholesome meal they served on March 16, to a full house of parents and children. Our next date is Tuesday, May 18. If you can help, please call Mary Hinton, 673-7699, or Pat Lynch, 383-5760. We are in our 20th year of volunteerism at the homeless family shelter, and the guests residing there welcome the meals that we UUs serve.
